15th & 16th August was Driffield Steam Rally. Even though I was there with Martin House stall I also managed to take along the 21 note Trueman Pipe organ which was played all weekend by Josh (12) & Cameron (14). they both did a great job of keeping everyone entertained. The road run on Saturday night into town was very well supported and there was plenty for everyone to see. |

On Saturday 1st August I was at Tockwith Show near York. Unfortunately it rained most of the day which meant attendance was very poor. Apart from that it was a good agricultural and country show. |

The last weekend in July saw Swinging Sisters at the seaside event at Withernsea. This year the event moved into the Valley Gardens with the Hull model boat group having a boating lake and displays. On the sea front there was the usual collection of miniature and full sized steam engines, fire engines, classic cars and stalls. The engines did a parade through the town on Saturday afternoon then joined us on the sea front. Apart from millions of harvest beetles landing everywhere it was a good weekend. |

The event was spread throughout the park and I was placed at the far entrance to the park with the Army assault course and sports area. Despite the locality there was a steady flow of people coming past all afternoon and I was raising money for Martin House Children's Hospice as well as providing the entertainment. |
